For a variety of reasons, FathomNet currently expects each organization to host their own images on a public web server. If you’re using a service like https://biigle.de/ or https://squidle.org/ to annotate your images. I would encourage you to work with them to allow exposing your image data publicly. Other options include sharing via AWS S3 or Google Cloud. When preparing your CSV, the url column points to the location of the image on your web server or hosting service.

At this stage, FathomNet only accepts image data, we don’t do video yet. (Although that is a future possibility. )
