If he wanted to make Twitter a town square, why is Twitter going to start charging $20/month to keep the blue verified checks? This is going to allow a proliferation of bot/fake accounts. To do a town square, I would think everyone could get blue checks through a some verification process. Elon is currently tweeting conspiracy theories? How is that good for democracy?
